Boston Ward 11 Democrats and ten local elected officials from across the district back Roath for Congress
BOSTON – Patrick Roath, Democratic candidate for Congress in Massachusetts’ 8th District, today announced endorsements from the Boston Ward 11 Democratic Committee and ten additional local elected officials representing communities across the district.
“I’m grateful for the support of the Ward 11 Democrats and these dedicated local leaders,” said Roath. “From Canton to Hull to Brockton, these officials know what it takes to show up for their communities. I’m proud to have them on our team.”
The endorsing officials are:

- JoAnna French, Westwood School Committee
- Claudio Gomes, Brockton School Committee
- Nathan Hutto, Milton School Committee
- Deb Milbauer, Milton Board of Health
- Irwin Nessoff, Hull Select Board
- Jess Paulus, Dedham Board of Health
- Erin Sibley, Westwood Select Board
- Katie Willette, Westwood School Committee
“We deserve a representative who is ready to stand up for our values and fight for what is right,” said Irwin Nessoff, member of the Hull Select Board. “Patrick will show up for the district and work for a government that builds the future we all deserve.”
The endorsements add to Roath’s growing coalition of support, which now includes more than 40 local elected officials, grassroots groups across the district, the Boston Teachers Union, AFT Massachusetts, former Governor Deval Patrick, and David Hogg’s Leaders We Deserve.
Roath has raised over $1.1 million from individual donors while refusing all corporate PAC money. The Democratic primary for Massachusetts’ 8th Congressional District is September 1, 2026.
