With more than a year to go until the midterm elections, the race to represent Massachusetts’ Eighth District has already gone negative.
Patrick Roath, a Boston-based attorney and voting rights advocate challenging US Representative Stephen Lynch, launched a Substack Wednesday with an inaugural post that highlights moments when Roath believes Lynch failed to stand up to President Trump or defend Democratic values.
The post provides a sneak-peak of Roath’s campaign strategy as the first-time politician seeks to introduce himself to the district and redefine the 24-year incumbent he’s challenging.
